I just received one of the sexiest texts I am like to all year.  And I’ll share it with you.

“6:30. sat evening. collapseable studios. you, me, aaron price & the best laid plans.” 

So tomorrow Ian and I will be in a studio getting the album mastered by Mr. Aaron Price, who is a fabulous musician / composer / studio engineer in Asheville.  It may take more than one visit, I am sure, but it is finally happening.  Then it will be done.  And I will become an even busier girl.  No rest for the weary.

Still, I am super excited.

Also, my banjolele came in the mail.  Hooray!

HOLY CAPS LOCK, Batman!  I just completed the first step of ordering Miss Mousie & The Rigamarole CDs.  The are still in post-production, but will be done soon as we can!  I am excited.  More soon!

So today is my our first day off on tour with Hellblinki!  Day 13 of our US expedition, and a drive from Minneapolis (where we were present in the city for a grand total of 15 hours, maybe) to Salt Lake City (we’ll be there for an even shorter visit), then onward to San Francisco and up the west coast then on and on and on, the dates are all on hellblinki.com.  I will quit digressing.

Miss Mousie’s album is so close, I am looking into packaging… I don’t think I like jewel cases… will I end up with them? Only time can tell.  Digipaks? Digihubs? Envelopes with spines?  Still looking.  I have now 6 of the 14 tracks for Best Laid Plans mastered and on my laptop.  Very nice.

Other than that, we’re all just working away, and I am looking forward to being home, sane, and sending away for the album to be done and in your little lovely hands.
